We rented a pop up trailer for Memorial Day weekend and took the kids camping in Brewster (Cape Cod). My kids love to camp...right after my own heart!!! I love hanging by the fire, exploring the area we are camping at...eating off the fire pit...etc.
We tried to go "fishing" ... but the weather here in New England, Specifically the south shore of Massachusetts has been HORRIBLE...seriously we went from spring to fall..60s with no sight of the sun. The kids didn't mind the sprinkles of rain we got while camping, they only lasted minutes...
All in all, we had a great time. We are looking to get bikes for everyone so we can have another thing to do while we are camping, there were so many bike trails at this state park, it would have been great to have a bike!!!! Next time!!!

Looks like a fun trip even w/ the rain drops! We just bought a used pop up a couple weeks ago & we are taking our first camping trip this weekend! Ethan is super excited! looking like our weather might not be so great either, they are calling for rain but temps in the high 70's, hope it changes by the end of the week! fingers crossed!

Yay for camping. We have an 1992 34' motorhome and love camping! I got a bike for my birthday, and a two kid bike trailer to pull behind it - just watch out for those hills! Tay rides her bike good, but we let Trace take his John Deere ride on for our "bike rides"!
Camping huh? You are brave girl. Poor Pres will have to come over and camp with you guys! Although sitting by the fire does sound nice. Love the pics of the kids.
How fun!! I used to love to camp when I was younger, and I'm looking forward to taking Simon in another year or two! Love the pictures - your kids are so adorable! I hope you have nicer weather on your next camping trip!

Yeah for a fun camping weekend. Those are great family memories! Great news about the 504 and the accomodations! and I love the beach pictures and JD sleeping under the umbrella ~ aren't they so precious when they sleep :0)
